The 7 day/6 night package includes an optional additional one day Mindfulness Meditation Introductory Workshop.

INSTRUCTOR

Lyn Villanueva Fulache is a yoga and meditation teacher and teacher trainer, Reiki Third Degree practitioner, retreat facilitator and certified Eating Psychology Coach. She holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy with a focus on Eastern thought and has also studied under Dr. Nicholas Sutton and Dr. Jessica Frazier of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies and under Dr. Tara Brach and Dr. Jack Kornfield of the Awareness Training Institute.

Lyn began her formal Reiki training in December 2011. She combines her work in Reiki with a decade-old mindfulness practice rooted in the Vipassana, Yoga and Zen traditions as well as with an academic understanding of Hindu and Buddhist philosophies. Lyn’s additional studies in the areas of analytical psychology, mindfulness meditation, comparative religion, eating psychology and somatic therapy plus her years of experience in coaching, mentoring and teaching have also deeply influenced her approach to Reiki.

When she’s not reading up on the world’s religions, Lyn spends her free time listening to neuroscience lectures and dharma talks. At work, she currently divides her time between leading yoga and meditation teacher trainings, designing meditation and Reiki courses and conducting workshops and retreats. Lyn is well-known for her clear, systematic and often irreverent teaching style and her ability to convey abstract, complex or technical knowledge in a lucid and accessible manner.
