More Guest Teachers

Yoga class at WHY

Yoga class at WHY

We enjoyed hosting more guest teachers during March and April.

20-27 March – Kate-

I teach Sattva Yoga.  (sattva means “harmony” in sanskrit)
My classes are created with the aim of achieving a balance between yin/yang energies, allowing for a harmonious condition to occur.  This type of practice leaves students feeling lighter in body & mind after class.  More specifically, we will hold a pose and then pause in stillness for a minute after in order to let our energy settle, which results in a slower and more meditative feeling class.
30 Mar – 6 April – Fiona-
I have years of experience growing fruit and veg in London, designing/facilitating community growing, and teaching/training in horticulture. Now I’m looking to learn the agricultural/small holding scale. I’m also a yogi, and additionally want to spend time with people running their retreat centres. I have many years of yoga practice and teaching, as well as experience living in ashrams/yoga centres in the Sivananda tradition.
Fiona will be with us over Easter Weekend so will be helping out with the FREE YOGA at Whangarei Heads School on Easter Sunday at 10.30.
Come along and ENJOY!
